A: We strongly recommend that you purchase travel
insurance for your cruise. The price of travel insurance is minimal
should an incident arise and your travel plans need to be cancelled.
Cruise lines impose a penalty for canceling your voyage 60 days
prior to sailing. On a few cruise lines, the penalties you incur
will be for 90-120 days prior to sailing.
Q: Where can I purchase travel insurance?
A: You may purchase cruise insurance from the
cruise line or through an independent
travel insurance company. We can provide both for you. The
prices will vary from the cruise ship policy vs. the independent
travel insurance, as will the amount of coverage and the limitations.
